I created “Promoting Hope: Potholders for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness” to honor my grandmother who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2005. As a small child, I enjoyed making potholders with her, as it was one of our favorite hobbies. We would make potholders for hours in all different colors and designs. After her death, I decided to make potholders to bring awareness to this dreadful disease and hopefully one day we can find a cure for pancreatic cancer. My goal is that my potholders become a symbol of hope, love, laughter and a reminder of loved ones lost. Thank you for visiting my website, donating to The Lustgarten Foundation and bringing me one step closer in to my mission to find a cure of pancreatic cancer, "One Potholder at a Time"!
Thanks to Cablevision Systems Corporation's commitment to underwrite all of The Lustgarten Foundation's administrative expenses, 100% of every donation the Foundation receives goes directly to pancreatic cancer research.
