I created “Potholders for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness” to honor my beloved Grandmother who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2005. As a small child, I would make potholders with her all the time. We would make them for hours in all different colors and designs. I decided to make potholders to bring awareness to this dreadful disease and find a cure. Everyone needs and uses potholders. My hope is that my potholders will become the symbol of hope and awareness for pancreatic cancer, like the ribbon is to breast cancer. I believe through hard work, dedication and enthusiasm we can find a cure!
Help find a cure "One Potholder at a Time"!
Thanks to Cablevision Systems Corporation's commitment to underwrite all of The Lustgarten Foundation's administrative expenses, 100% of every donation the Foundation receives goes directly to pancreatic cancer research.
